As last highlight in our vacation we booked the „O“ Show from Cirque du Soleil. The show is shown in the theatre of the Bellagio.
Although this kind of show is very expensive, it is absolute phantastic and worth every cent. It is amazing to see athletes and artists perform their art in a theater, which is full of water. The whole stage is a big oval pool. Which can be closed and opened in a few seconds without showing this to the audience. There are at least 60 artists performing their acts on world class niveau. And under water there is a crew of at least 16 divers supporting the artists.
The music for the show is played live in two separees on the side.
Music, lights, show effects, performance, artistic and humor are performed on top level. World class divers jump from above 15 m in the pool, acorbats show performance on swings and fly across the arena.
We all 4 loved this show – although one can get cold watching this show over 2 hours in a climatized undercooled theatre.
The only bad this we did not really liked was the fact, that during the show and especially after the end of the show the applause was not on that level we had expected. For us it seemed that the audience liked the show but estimated the performance as „normal“. We thinkt that in Europe this performance will get long standing ovations.
At the Rodeo in Paso Robles every Bull Rider has got more applause. And the Navy soldiers catching the American Flag got even more.
Nevertheless: We loved the show and it was a got final act closing our phantastic holidays.
